Ricocheted

the day simply ricocheted
like a sounding song
of bouncing color
rippling and riding
shattering the surface
revealing something
buried in the starkness
a violently vibrant
cascading crescendo
pummeled by overriding love
the sun
with a clean geometry
and sarcastic simmering
needled and and harassed
the wooded world
to show some sheepish leafiness
the shapes of the forest reemerged
flirting through fuzzy greenness
boldly bragging of lusciousness
not quite manifested
but today none the less
we heard, one and all
faith ringing its bell
as for me
yes
I’ll wrap myself in your giddiness
desire the grapes
teased
between grinning lips
for there are days
when destiny deals out fate
like taut scribbled lines
scratching dry parchment
but these bee-humming days
through half sleeping eyes
fate does seem
a tray, heavy laden
with wonder and beauty
I’ll be greedy
in the blending confusion
of pink evening clashes
palms to the sky
eyes wide
with each new laugh
each well felt breath
I’ll rest inside
beside
over
join me

Soup’s on! Stir this and read it out loud Catherine. It wants to be heard. Read it to your children like a bee humming.
HAH! (laughing)
Well!
I missed ya!
hmm, an interesting dichotomy of emotion. The glory of a new spring day, a source of happiness for many but, you don't quite ready to be that happy.

You do seem to be on the verge of accepting the day with joy if only someone would join you…
So what say we go for a walk with her Rafael, in that clean bright geometry.
Colours and light, lush green shadows, and dappled sunshine. I've been doing a lot of painting this week. It always brings out my emotions. As a result, these exquisite lines resonate in particular:
rippling and riding
shattering the surface
revealing something
buried in the starkness
a violently vibrant
cascading crescendo
pummeled by overriding love
Yes Ron it would be nice to go on a walk with friends who can not only witness but put into words the wonder of nature.
Thanks for joining me Rafael. It's my pleasure. The only problem is that Catherine has gone on ahead to pixelate and wait. Did you just hear a cow bell, Rafael?
:-)
Well come on guys…. hurry up!
And cow bells….. are mostly for location purposes…. so come and find me….
Gimme the rest of that sandwich Rafael. Let's go. Left. Left. The left hand path…
